Our Mission: 
To put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy body, mind and spirit for all.

We've been serving the greater Lehigh Valley for over 143 years!

In the next 143 years our mission will remain unchanged - to serve the entire community through a wide variety of programs and activities. There will continue to be children in the pool learning to swim and older adults enjoying the benefits and camaraderie found in an Arthritis Exercise class.

 

About the Lehigh Valley YMCAs

bulletOver 20,000 members strong. (40% under age 13, 12% 14-18, 6% young adults 19-23, 14% families, 22% adults, 6% seniors).

bulletWe do not allow the inability to pay prevent a person or family from becoming members of the "Y".

 

Who We Serve:

We serve children, adults and families in the greater Lehigh Valley community.  Every year thousands of people join us as members and non-member program participants in various activities.

In the next 143 years, the YMCA mission will remain unchanged - to serve the entire community. There will still be children in the pool learning to swim and there will still be senior citizens in arthritis water exercise classes.  The young and not so young will continue to seek the camaraderie and physical and recreational activities that have kept our Y alive for so many years.
